Welcome to the classic Williams Photographic main page! Here you will find all the equipment reviews convering a wide range of topics, from digital to large format. Content is added on a semi-regular basis, so keep checking back.      The latest edition is a complete overhaul to the digital photography section. It now offers a more complete and detailed look into the current status of digital photography versus film. If you're having a rough day or just need something to laugh at, check out Pretty in Pink, a photographic series by Kristine Washburn that involves the statues of Boulder, CO and a pink tutu... Highly recommended viewing.
For those with an interest in medium format cameras, I encourage you to check out my book on the subject published by Amherst Media (available through Amherst Media's website: Medium Format Cameras, by Peter B. Williams).

Dedicated to listing information on cameras, both present and past, the Online Camera Database includes a complete Yashica TLR FAQ, large format lens specifications, and information on the complete Canon EOS line (both current and out of production EOS models), just to name a few. Recent additions include Nikon AF and Hasselblad, and more systems are being added.
You can help the database grow by submitting information on your camera, particularly if you have an older model no longer in production. I'm looking for model numbers, features, bugs, and any other information you can provide. Information on classic, vintage, and collectable cameras would be especially appreciated!

Looking for a new camera? Interested in what cameras are out there? Then check out the Buyer's Guide. I've included information on a wide range of equipment, including:
Medium Format
35mm Autofocus
35mm Manual Focus
Point and Shoots
