     Welcome to Williamsphotographic.com! This site is dedicated to all things photographic, and my various projects in photography and video. You will find a wide variety of material on the site, from the original photographic equipment pages that started the site back in 1997 up through my latest endeavors with a helmetcam on the slopes of the Colorado mountains. Please understand that the site is undergoing a complete overhaul, so bear with me until all the new sections (such as my photography and helmetcam services) are fully up and running. All the original pages are still available, and can be reached through the photographic equipment link below.

• Photographic Equipment: Reviews, information, and recommendations.  This extensive section was the original basis for Williamsphotographic.com, and as such includes a tremendous variety of information. You will find information on 35mm, medium format, large format, and digital imaging. Unique items include the Yaschica TLR FAQ, providing a model listing and description of virtually the entire Yashica TLR line. You can also find more information on my book, Medium Format Cameras: A User's Guide to Buying and Shooting, published by Amherst Media.

• Helmetcam! The next generation of insanity...  Ever wonder what it's like to head down the slopes on a snowboard? Need a reminder of why you should skip work tomorrow and head to the mountains? Then this is for you! I am developing a helmetcam service with empaphasis on streaming video for the web, and here you'll find video clips from recent trips to the Colorado mountains, and a few fun "product promos".

• Image Gallery  First and foremost, I am a photographer. Here you'll find a small collection of my photographs, with more to be added soon (including a number of Colorado landscapes and images from Hancock Shaker Village in Pittsfield, MA). There are also some comedy images from myself and friends (including Kristine Washburn's Pretty in Pink) in case you need a good laugh. Most images are available for purchase either as prints or framed.
